JAKARTA. The government’s policy regarding the relaxation of value-added tax (VAT) still becomes the cornerstone for PT PP Properti Tbk (PPRO) to attain the marketing sales target of IDR 1.2 trillion this year.

Deni Budiman, Financial Drector of PPRO, clamed that in order to secure this target, PPRO will try to speed up the sales of ready-stock units by utilising the tax relaxation policy from the government. Additionally, PPRO will also take on four projects of residential construction in four different locations, which are carry-over projects from 2021. They include Louvin in Sumedang; Permata Puri in Trans Yogi, Cibubur; Tana Babarsari in Yogyakarta, and Westown View in Surabaya.

“We are confident that this year’s sals target could reach IDR 1.2 trillion,” Budiman stated, as quoted by Kontan. PPRO will also count on landed house sales as the residential segment shows a positive prospect this year.

Last year, PPRO scored sales of IDR 932 billion, mainly brought in by Grand Sungkono Lagoon, Grand Dharmajusada Lagoon, Begawan Apartment, and The Alton. This year, PPRO intends to secure the revenue and net profit growth of 10%-15%. (AM/ZH)
