JAKARTA – PT Panca Budi Niaga (PBN), a subsidiary of PT Panca Budi Idaman Tbk (PBID), joins in distributing People Business Credit (lit. Kredit Usaha Rakyat/KUR) of an IDR 20 billion limit from PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) to its plastic packaging retail partners in Jabodetabek. KUR or People Credit is a government’s financing program aimed for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSME).

Lukman Hakim, Director of Panca Budi Idaman, confirmed that the signing of the credit channeling between PBN and BCA took place yesterday (4/4). “The KUR channeling collaboration between BCA and PBN is intended for plastic packaging retailers in Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi (Jabodetabek),” he added in the information disclosure quoted Tuesday (5/4).

According to Hakim, the said cooperation will help receivables collected from the business partners timely by PBN and boost sales in the future. For BCA, this people credit distribution is a way to support the government’s program that wishes to facilitate accessible financing for MSME.

KUR is indeed known as a government’s program to increase the accessibility towards financing for MSME, which has been running for 14 years, dated back to 2008. (LK/ZH)
