JAKARTA – PT Bank JTrust Indonesia Tbk (BCIC) files a Suspension of Debt Payment Obligation (lit. Penundaan Kewajiban Pembayaran Utang/PKPU) against PT Group Lease Finance Idnoensia (GL Finance) in the Commercial Court of the Central Jakarta District Court. GL Finance used to be BCIC’s partner in financing facility distribution.
Quoting sppnjakartapusat website today (8/4, the lawsuit has been registered under case No.85/Pdt.Su-PKPU/2022/PN Niaga Jakarta Pusat. In the said lawsuit, BCIC requests to impose a bankruptcy status within 45 days since the court’s legal decision. The court assembly is also asked to assign Janner P Lumbantobing, Doddy Boy Silalahi dan Johanes E Hasiholan as the administrator in the said lawsuit.
BCIC had also filed a similar lawsuit in Central Jakarta District Court against GL Finance on February 16 and 17, 2021, as well as a default lawsuit on September 28, 2020, and October 1, 2018. In retaliation, GL Finance also filed two default lawsuits against BCIC on April 10 and June 10, 2019.
GL Finance is a financing company for farming tools, motorcycles, as well as minibus and pick-up trucks with various brands, including Kubota, Honda, and Tata Motors. (LK/ZH)
