JAKARTA - The Ministry of Trade through the Directorate General of National Export Development (Ditjen PEN) will launch the Inaexport application to develop the potential of the export business sector in Indonesia. The Inaexport application is the official Business to Business (B2B) platform from the Government of Indonesia.
"Through the use of the Inaexport application, it is hoped that it will be able to encourage an increase in national exports, especially from the non-oil and gas sector. With the increasing number of small and medium enterprises (SMEs), it is hoped that they will also be able to expand the market overseas,” said Director General of National Export Development, Didi Sumedi.
Didi explained that Inaexport is the result of the development of the membership service of the Directorate General of National Export Development, which was originally built with the aim of becoming a service platform in an integrated network for business actors to obtain information on export opportunities. Currently, 1,441 verified exporters have registered with a total of 5,609 products. The application also provides 521 market information and 30 trade promotion and training events. Inaexport has also received support from 48 Indonesian trade representatives abroad.
“One of the uniqueness of the Inaexport platform is that users can choose the type of membership they want according to their needs, either as an exporter or as a buyer. As an exporter, apart from getting various kinds of information on general export opportunities, you can also connect online with various potential buyers from abroad. Exporters can also obtain information related to export training and exhibition information," said Didi.
The Ministry of Trade plans to hold a soft launching event for the Inaexport hybrid platform on Monday (11/4). This event will be attended by the ranks of the Ministry of Trade, trade representatives, representatives of services in charge of trade in the region, as well as associations of business actors. (LM)
