JAKARTA – PT Jaya Real Property Tbk (JAYA) allocates IDR 100 billion for a buyback plan, repurchasing 192,307,000 shares for the next three months, starting yesterday (12/4). These shares are smaller in quantity than the shares repurchased during the same corporate action on January 1, 2022, of 192.32 million units.
Niken Larasati Rahardjo, Corporate Secretary of Jaya Real Property, mentioned that by the end of this corporate action this time, the company’s net profit per share will be boosted to IDR 58.51 from the initial IDR 57.66 per share reported at the end of December 2021.
In January 2022, the company also budgeted IDR 100 billion for the similar corporate action. The total repurchased shares clocked up to 71,878,700 units, with a purchasing price of IDR 502 each. Thus, the realisation totalled IDR 36.05 billion.
The buyback program has been started gradually since December 2019, and will end on April 8, 2022. Total repurchased shares until now amount to 422,878,700 shares, with the average purchasing price of IDR 583 per share or a realisation of IDR 246.13 billion. (LK/ZH)
