JAKARTA - PT Tri Adi Bersama (Anteraja), a logistic startup that is a subsidiary of PT Adi Sarana Armada Tbk (ASSA), officially introduced the first robotic automated sorting system in Indonesia. Anteraja is optimistic that the presence of robotic sorting can increase productivity and sorting efficiency by up to 200% with the robotic work accuracy rate of more than 99%.

CEO of Anteraja, Suyanto Tjoeng explained, “Amid the many automation systems in the logistics industry, we see that the sorting system using robots is the most suitable for Anteraja's current business model. The work speed of the robot can help to increase the productivity of the sorter team. With this robotic system, we can accelerate the sorting process by up to 2 times than usual.”

In 2021, Anteraja's delivery volume was recorded at more than 1 million parcels/day, or an increase of more than 3 times compared to 2020. In addition, the service network is also getting wider, where currently Anteraja already has more than 1,000 service points in 34 provinces in Indonesia.

For information, currently Anteraja has around hundreds of robots operating at the Halim Gateway Hub. Anteraja's robotic system has been equipped with a scanner system that can read the area code of each package. After the code is successfully read, the robots will immediately sort packages by city or district according to the destination address listed. Thus, the sorting process will be faster, which in the end should save time in shipping goods to customers.

“In the future, we will continue to develop technology and increase the number of robots owned to accelerate business growth. In 2022, we target Anteraja's business volume growth to reach around 40% with a delivery volume target of more than 1.5 million parcels/day," Suyanto concluded. (LM)
