JAKARTA - PT Avia Avian Tbk. (“AVIA”), a leading decorative paint producer in Indonesia, approved the distribution of cash dividends to its shareholders amounting to IDR1.2 billion or approximately 83.3% of 2021 net profit which recorded a total value of IDR1.4 billion. The decision was made in an Annual General Meeting of the Shareholders (Rapat Umum Pemegang Saham Tahunan or RUPST) convened by the Company today in Surabaya.
Wijono Tanoko as the President Director of AVIA said “We are grateful that in the midst of the pandemic, AVIA remained able to record a positive performance in 2021. As our appreciation to the shareholders who continue to support AVIA’s business growth, through today’s RUPST, the management has obtained the approval to distribute dividends with a total value of IDR1.2 billion or IDR20.55 per share from the net profit in 2021. The total of the cash dividends includes the previously distributed interim dividends of IDR700 billion to the shareholders.”
As information, until Quarter I-2022, the Company has 105 wholly-owned distribution centers and 34 third-party distribution centers. In total, these distribution centers serve more than 54.500 construction material stores across Indonesia. In addition, to pursue growth in various business lines and operational aspects, the Company continues to pay close attention to the maintenance of strong capital to ensure its ability to accommodate future business development plans. For this reason, in December 2021, the Company conducted initial public offering of shares to the public and limited offerings to the Company’s Shareholders. (LM)
