JAKARTA – PT Bali Towerindo Semesta Tbk (BALI), a telecommunication tower service provider, scored current year’s profit of IDR 83.26 billion in Q1 2022, shifting 45.90% from the profit in the same period in 2021 of IDR 36.58 billion. The increase resulted from revenue growth and efficiencies in its financial expenses.
In the Financial Report Q1 2022 published today (25/4), Jap Owen Ronadhi, President Director of BALI mentioned that the operating revenue reached IDR 244.84 billion, climbing from IDR 220.04 billion reported in the same period in 2021. The gross profit and the operating profit reportedly arrived at IDR 139.36 billion and IDR 122.31 billion, increasing from IDR 126.18 billion and IDR 110.01 billion, respectively.
The increased operating revenue was made possible by all business lines, including the tower and network that contributed IDR 138.92 billion and the internet data communication and cable TV that brought in IDR 105.91 billion. For comparison, in the same period in 2021, the tower and network segment scored IDR 136.01 billion, while the internet data communication and cable TV line generated IDR 84.02 billion. (LK/ZH)
