Chance Stand divested 11.04% of its portion in Bintang Mitra

JAKARTA – Chance Stand Finance Ltd decided to divest 11.04% of its shares in PT Bintang Mitra Semestaraya Tbk (BMSR) in a transaction that took place last week (22/4). In this transaction, Chance gained IDR 29.18 billion of fresh funds in return.

Fajri Rahmawati, Corporate Secretary of Bintang Mitra Semestaraya, confirmed that Chance is the controlling shareholders of the company with an ownership percentage of 71.01%. “After the transaction, Chance’s portion is down to 59.95%,” Rahmawati added in the information disclosure quoted Wednesday (27/4).

Following the transaction, Chance’s shares now amount to 695,199,832 units, depleting 128 million units from 823,199,832 units. The selling price was set to IDR 128 each.

In March 2022, BMSR’s shares still amounted to 1,159,200,024 units, 71.01% of which belonged to Chance, leaving the public with the remaining 28.99%.
