Samindo lends SIMS Jaya Kaltim IDR 100 billion

JAKARTA – PT Samindo Resources Tbk (MYOH) to channel a credit facility of IDR 100 billion to PT SIMS Jaya Kaltim (SJK), its subsidiary, to cover operational costs. Ahmad Zaki Natsir, Corporate Secretary of Samindo Resources, announces the said transaction in the information disclosure quoted Thursday (12/5).

“The transaction took place yesterday (11/5) equipped with a 6% annual interest rate,” Natsir revealed.

The transaction did not involve any conflicts of interest referring to the Financial Services Authority Regulation (POJK) No.42/2020.

SJK is MYOH’s subsidiary with a 99.99% ownership, commercially operating since 2001. This company is engaged in the eathmoving and rock excavation industry. Its total assets clocked up to IDR 61.80 billion in March 2022, slowing down from IDR 61.13 billion in Q1 2021.

MYOH collected revenue of USD 31.17 million at the end of Q1 2022, depleting from USD 38.89 million in Q1 2021. Its gross profit also significantly shrank from USD 10.08 million to USD 3.72 million, as its current year’s profit did from USD 5.75 million to USD 1.90 million (LK/ZH)
