JAKARTA – PT ABM Investama Tbk (ABMM) will distribute cash dividends of IDR 739.09 billion from its net profit in 2021. The plan had been decided upon during the Annual General Shareholders Meeting yesterday (11/5).
Rindra Donovan, Corporate Secretary of ABM Investama, mentioned that the said arrangement was approved by 99.95% of the present shareholders, representing 2,291,920,921 shares. “The shareholders decided to allocate some of the net profit in 2021 of USD 148 million to cash dividend, USD 100,000 to the company’s general reserves, and storing the rest of them as retained earnings,” he announced in the meeting treatise quoted Friday (13/5).
ABMM’s satisfactory result in 2021 was supported by the coal price surge. As an illustration, in 2019, the company scored USD 7.6 million of profit and suffered USD 35.7 million of loss in 2020.
The users’ contracts contributed USD 1,02 billion to the revenue in 2021, proliferating from USD 606.4 million in 2020 and USD 592.4 million in 2019. (LK/ZH)
