JAKARTA – PT Adi Sarana Armada Tbk (ASSA) are optimistic that they can continue good growth this year, one of which is driven by the growth in performance of one of the subsidiaries, namely Anteraja. Until December 2021, Anteraja managed to achieve growth of up to 248% with an average shipping volume of around 1 million pacel/day, and is targeting by the end of the year shipments to reach 1.5 million parcels/day. However, during certain days in April 2022, Anteraja's daily deliveries have reached around 1.3 million parcels/day.

President Director of ASSA, Prodjo Sunarjanto said, "We see that the logistics business, especially express delivery, has a very large prospect and will continue to grow from year to year. Therefore, we continue to develop the potential to enter new market opportunities for Anteraja. Currently, we are also utilizing robotic sorting technology to increase the efficiency and productivity of Anteraja's performance at one of our sorting hub in Halim area in Jakarta. Hopefully the use of robotic technology will enable Anteraja to keep performing and boost ASSA's group performance in the future."

Prodjo continued, the momentum of Ramadan this year also contributed to the increase in Anteraja's shipments in April, along with transactions through e-commerce which grew very rapidly. Apart from Anteraja, ASSA's performance this year will also be supported by the business line of buying and selling used vehicles through its subsidiary Autopedia (ASLC). This year, Autopedia targets to achieve business growth of up to three digits of around 182%.

"It is hoped that with the innovations and business strategies that are implemented, this year we can achieve top-line and bottom-line growth reaching double digits above 30%," Prodjo concluded. (LM)
