20 May 2022 08:23

JAKARTA. PT Nusantara Infrastructure Tbk (META) sets the capital expenditure (CapEx) budget to IDR 1.5 trillion to fund several upcoming projects. Approximately 70% of said amount will be sourced out from loans, and another 30% from the internal cash.

Danni Hasan, Director of Nusantara Infrastructure, mentioned that most of the budget is channelled to the tollway business sector, including the construction of the tollway access to Makassar New Port (MNP), which is expected to take up IDR 552 billion. This project will be handled by META’s subsidiary, PT Bintaro Serpong Damai (BSD).

META is currently working on the flood mitigation project and the tollway section weaving project in the Pondok Aren-Serpong route of the Jakarta Outer Ring Road (JORR) 2. This project is estimated to absorb IDR 541 billion. The construction kicked off in March 2022 and will last 14 months.

META is reportedly taking a part in the tender of Elevated JORR of Cikunir-Ulujami section. “It is quite a prestigious project for us. If we managed to secure this, it will be the sixth toll road that we’ve built,” Hasan claimed. (AM/ZH)
