JAKARTA – PT Digital Mediatama Maxima Tbk (DMMX) officially becomes the owner of 5.77% of PT Bumilangit Entertainment Corpora (BMC), the production house of Indonesian superhero comic books, following the transaction that took place yesterday (13/6). Budiastomo Kusuma, President Director of Digital Mediatama Maxima, confirmed the news in the information disclosure quoted Thursday (16/6).
“The company has 795 shares worth IDR 79.5 million, equivalent to 5.77% ownership in Bumilangit,” Kusuma stated.
According to Kusuma, DMMX’s portion in Bumilangit will reinforce its primary business line in the advertising media industry.
Bumilangit is well known as a production house of several Indonesian-based superhero comic books since 2003. Until now, the company has featured over 200 comic books and has turned some of them into movies and television series, such as Gundala and Si Buta dari Gua Hantu. (LK/ZH)
