JAKARTA. PT Lippo General Insurance Tbk (LPGI), an insurance company under Lippo Group, plans to distribute cash dividends worth IDR 666.67 per share or IDR 100 billion in total.
Satini Kartika Sari, Corporate Secretary of LPGI, claimed that said plan aligns with the result of the Annual General Shareholders Meeting held on June 30, 2022. In said meeting, the shareholders allowed the allocation of 12.88% of the company's net profit as cash dividends.
At the end of the fiscal year 2021, LPGI managed to post retained earnings of IDR 776.50 billion. It was what remained after taking up IDR 97.38 billion as reserved funds.
Cash dividend will be disbursed to shareholders whose names have entered the Official Shareholders List by July 12, 2022. The money itself will be sent out on August 3, 2022.
As of March 2022, 65.79% of LPGI's shares are still listed under PT Into Anugerah Pratama. Then, another 19.80% belongs to PT Star Pacific Tbk (LPLI), leaving the remaining 14.41% to public investors. (KR/ZH)
