Covering its subsidiary’s capital needs, NETV channels out IDR 114.10 billion

JAKARTA – PT Net Visi Media Tbk (NETV), the managing company of NET TV, reportedly channelled out additional capital of IDR 114.10 billion to two of its subsidiaries. The money came from the proceeds it gained during its initial public offering (IPO) back on January 17, 2022.

Ferry, Corporate Secretary of NETV, claimed that the company has indeed increased the capital of PT Net Mediatama Televisi (NMT) and PT Net Media Digital (NMD).

The extra capital investment for NMT amounted to IDR 74.20 billion, allowing its authorised capital to arrive at IDR 6.03 trillion, while its issued and paid-up capital clock up to IDR 1.50 trillion.

On the other hand, NMD got IDR 39.90 billion worth of additional capital, bringing the issued and paid-up capital to IDR 40.90 billion and authorised capital of IDR 163.60 billion.

For the record, NETV managed to collect IDR 142.80 billion during its IPO, 20.1% of which is allocated to the working capital, while another 20.45% goes to NMT’s additional capital. Then, 31.51% of them is utilised as a repayment of bank loans owed by NMT. Lastly, the remaining 27.94% is placed as an extra capital for NMD. (LK/ZH)
