JAKARTA. PT Asuransi Bintang Tbk (ASBI) announced the plan of cash dividend distribution of IDR 5.7 per share or IDR 1.99 billion in total.
This plan is the result of the Annual General Shareholders Meeting of ASBI held earlier last week. In this meeting, the shareholders agreed to allocate 12% of the net profit collected in 2021 as cash dividends.
On top of the dividend allocation, approximately IDR 823 million of the net profit of the company will be stored as reserve funds. Then, ASBI will also allocate IDR 113.2 million as dividends of sign of profit, and putting the remaining amount of net profit to retained earnings.
The cash dividend will be distributed to shareholders who have entered the Official Shareholders List by July 20, 2022. Then, the disbursement will follow on August 11, 2022.
Until March 31, 2022, PT Srihana Utama claims 35.46% of ASBI’s shares, followed by PT Ngrumat Bondo Utomo that has another 25.06%, PT Warisan Kasih Bunda of 21.65%, and public investors. (KR/ZH)
