JAKARTA. The total incoming bids in the additional Government Sharia Securities (lit. Surat Berharga Syariah Negara/SBSN) or State Sukuk auction or the greenshoe option held yesterday (27/7) reportedly reached IDR 1.74 trillion.

In said auction, four series of SBSN were offered by the Indonesian government. Specifically, the incoming bids for PBS031 came up to IDR 201 billion, followed by PBS032 of IDR 300 billion, PBS029 of IDR 642 billion, and PBS033 of IDR 600 billion.

The awarded weighted average yield in the auction ranged from 5.83% to 7.4%. Meanwhile, the bid-to-cover ratio of all series hit 1.00.

For context, this additional SBSN auction is an extension of the SBSN auction held on July 26, 2022. In said previous auction, the government managed to score IDR 5.87 trillion of the total incoming bids. However, the awarded amount arrived below the indicative target, which was initially set to IDR 7 trillion.

The proceeds of this greenshoe option agenda will be added to the financing target set in the 2022 State Budget. The underlying assets included in this extended auction are projects and activities listed in the State Budget, as well as land and buildings categorised as State-Owned assets. (KR/ZH)
