JAKARTA. PT Pratama Abadi Nusa Industri Tbk (PANI) will raise fresh funds of IDR 6.56 trillion by issuing 13.12 billion new shares with pre-emptive rights, also known as rights issue.
The number of shares offered in this corporate action approximately 96.97% of PANI’s issued and paid-up capital. Each unit of share is valued at IDR 100, and will be offered for IDR 500 per share.
For every one old share of PANI, the owner will receive 32 pre-emptive rights. Then, each pre-emptive right will grant the owner a chance to acquire one new share. PT Multi Artha Pratama (MAP) as the major shareholder of PANI had declared its willingness to exercise its entire rights as well as become the standby buyer.
The recording date of this rights issue plan is set to August 10, 2022. Meanwhile, the electronic distribution will follow on August 11, 2022, a day before the listing on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) on August 12, 2022.
Approximately IDR 6.5 trillion of the rights issue proceed will be allocated to its business expansion agenda by granting an equity participation in one of its subsidiaries. The rest of the proceed will then be channelled to the company’s working capital. (KR/ZH)
