JAKARTA – PT Energia Prima Nusantara (EPN) takes control over 21% of ACEI Singapore Holding Pte Ltd’s portion in PT Arkora Hydro Tbk (ARKO) for IDR 176.55 billion.
In the information disclosure quoted Monday (8/8), Sara K. Loebis, Corporate Secretary of PT United Tractors Tbk (UNTR), claimed that once the shares are fully transferred, EPN will have 632,801,893 shares of ACEI. “EPN will then indirectly and directly have a portion in Arkora of 922,183,893 shares in total, which are equivalent to 31.49%,” she confirmed.
EPN is listed as UNTR’s subsidiary, while ACEI has no direct and indirect affiliation with EPN.
According to Loebis’s words, the acquisition of ACEI’s portion in Arkora is intended to realise investment plan in the form of business diversification, as well as new and renewable energy (NRE) power plant development. (LK/ZH)
