Arranging stock split, EKAD opt for 1:5 ratio
JAKARTA – PT Ekadharma International Tbk (EKAD) will divide up the value of its stock, also known as stock split, with a ratio of 1:5, splitting the original stock value of IDR 50 each to IDR 10 each.
Lie Phing, Corporate Secretary, of Ekadharma International, claimed that the number of shares will multiply fivefold, bringing it to a total of 3,493,875,000 shares from the initial 698,775,000 shares.
The stock trading with the outdated price in all markets will be brought to an end on August 19, 2022, before using the new value in the regular and negotiation market on August 22, 2022, and the cash market on August 24, 2022.
For the record, this corporate action had been agreed during the Extraordinary General Shareholders Meeting on July 27, 2022. (LK/ZH)
