JAKARTA. PT Bumi Serpong Damai Tbk (BSDE), a property developer under Sinar Mas Group, has placed an investment worth USD 25 million in PT Elang Andalan Nusantara (EAN), the owner of DANA e-wallet application.
Hermawan Wijaya, Director of BSDE, claimed that said investment will strengthen and increase the value of BSDE’s digital ecosystem. On top of this, including DANA in the long-term investment portfolio will promote the marketing and boost the performance of the company in the future.
“Aside from enhancing financial literacy and inclusivity, it will offer better digital experience for our consumers, and thus solidifying our future performance,” Wijaya added in the information disclosure.
BSDE currently possesses over 2,197 hectares of land bank. One of its flagship projects is BSD City, which has entered the third phase of development.
Throughout the first half of 2022, BSDE collected an operating profit of IDR 3.83 trillion, increasing 17.87% year-on-year (yoy). Meanwhile, its cash and cash equivalent safely arrived at IDR 9.12 trillion until June 30, 2022. (KR/ZH)
