18 August 2022 08:32

JAKARTA – King’s Eye Investment Limited (KEI) transfers 50% of its portion in PT Synnex Metrodata Indonesia (SMI), a subsidiary of PT Metrodata Electronics Tbk (MTDL), to Synnex Technology International Corporation (STIC).

Randy Kartadinata, Corporate Secretary of Metrodata Eletcronics, confirmed that the decision of KEI to reassign its shares to STIC will not affect the controlling shareholder status of SMI. “The company (KEI) still has 50% of SMI and is still listed as the controller,” he explained in the information disclosure quoted Thursday (18/8).

KEI and STIC are affiliates listed under the Synnex Group. The number of transferred shares amounts to 150,000 units or 50% of SMI’s issued shares.

After this transaction, which took place yesterday (15/8), MTLA and STIC both now have 50% of SMI, equal to 150,000 shares. “The company will still include the financial statement of SIM into the consolidated report as prior to the transaction,” Kartadinata added. (LK/ZH)
