JAKARTA – The shareholders gave the green light to the plan of PT Mandala Multifinance Tbk (MFIN), a leasing company under Mandala Finance, to issue bonds in order to solidify its capital structure to promote financing expansion.
“The meeting agreed upon the plan of the company to issue bonds and granted the upper management authority to take further action regarding this plan,” Mahrus, Corporate Secretary of Mandala Finance, revealed in the information disclosure quoted Monday (22/8).
Said plan was finalised during the Extraordinary General Shareholders Meeting held last week (19/8). Approximately 75.51% of the shareholders were present at the meeting, representing 2,001,041,927 shares out of the total issued shares of 2.65 billion units.
Furthermore, it was also decided that this corporate action will take effect no later than one year after the meeting. “The shareholders also agreed to guarantee most or entire of their assets to support this issuance of bonds,” Mahrus further stated.
Until December 2021, Mandala Finance’s consumer financing clocked up to IDR 4.43 trillion, shifting approximately IDR 1 trillion from the 2020 record of IDR 3.45 trillion. (LK/ZH)
