JAKARTA – PT Universal Joyo Lestari (UJL), a subsidiary of PT Damai Sejahtera Abadi Tbk (UFOE), the managing company of UFO Elektronik retail network, has purchased assets in the form of land and building of 708 m2 in Madiun, East Java, for IDR 8 billion.
“The money to fund this asset acquisition originates from the internal cash, amounting to IDR 2 billion, while another IDR 6 billion is from bank’s investment credit,” Lina Ariawati Harijono, Corporate Secretary of UFOE, revealed in the information disclosure quoted Wednesday (24/8).
The selling party in this transaction consists of Pudji Harianto, President Commissioner of UFOE and UJL, Poedji Harixon, a shareholder of UFOE and UJL, and Henry Budiono, Director of UFOE and President Director of UJL.
Harijono believes that this asset acquisition will cut down the company’s rental cost, which might drive the company’s performance in return.
Until December 2021, UFOE recorded current assets of IDR 184.99 billion, shifting from IDR 160.70 billion reported in December 2020. Likewise, its non-current assets also heavily increased from IDR 157.88 billion to IDR 238.68 billion. (LK/ZH)
