Yesterday’s SUN auction raised IDR 47.25 trillion

JAKARTA. The incoming bids recorded during the auction of Government Securities (lit. Surat Utang Negara/SUN) yesterday (30/8) managed to reach IDR 47.25 trillion. However, it was significantly lower than the number received in the previous SUN auction on August 16, 2022, which amounted to IDR 72.16 trillion.

In yesterday’s auction, the Indonesian government offered seven series of SUN, which consist of two series of Treasury Notes (lit. Surat Perbendaharaan Negara/SPN) and five series of Government Bonds (lit. Obligasi Negara/ON).

SPN12230526 was the SPN series with the highest amount of incoming bids, attracting bids worth IDR 6.54 trillion in total. In bonds, FR0096 became the ON series that was bid the highest, recording IDR 17.85 trillion worth of incoming bids yesterday.

Out of these incoming bids, the Indonesian government managed to squeeze IDR 19 trillion. The awarded amount thankfully meets the indicative target set previously on August 25, 2022.

For the record, the Indonesian government managed to win more in the auction on August 16, 2022. On said occasion, it absorbed IDR 21.65 trillion in total, automatically exceeding the indicative target of IDR 19 trillion. (KR/ZH)
