Incoming bids in sukuk auction reportedly reached IDR 24.14 trillion

JAKARTA. The total incoming bids placed in the auction of six series of Government Sharia Securities (Surat Berharga Syariah Negara/SBSN) or State Sukuk yesterday (6/9) arrived at IDR 24.14 trillion.

The series that gained most bids were PBS033, garnering bids of IDR 7.99 trillion in total. Meanwhile, the series with the lowest amount of bids were PBS034, only capped at IDR 540 billion.

The awarded weighted average yield of PBS033 in yesterday’s auction clocked up to 7.22%, while the yield of SPNS was 3%. Then, the yield of PBS036 reportedly reached 5.72%, PBS003 6,58%, and PBS029 7.13%.

Out of the total incoming bids, the awarded amount absorbed by the Indonesian government is totalled to IDR 9 trillion. It has met the exact indicative target set prior to the auction of IDR 9 trillion.

However, the total incoming bids in yesterday’s auction fell below the amount raised during the previous round of sukuk auction. The sukuk auction on August 23, 2022, managed to attract bids of IDR 28.54 trillion. (KR/ZH)
