JAKARTA. PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM) plans to wrap up the data centre business restructuring process, from PT Telkom Sigma to PT Telkom Data Ekosistem (TDE), in 2024. Dewi Simatupang, AVP Reporting and Complience of Telkom, announced the vision in the information disclosure quoted today (9/9).
“The restructuring in question will consolidate the business and data centres of Telkom Group to TDE in order to enhance the data centre portfolio,” Simatupang said.
According to Simatupang, with this modification, Telkom Sigma will be focusing on cloud, IT services, and digital services. In the future, Telkom Sigma, as the end-to-end managed service company, will cover the cloud platform management, cybersecurity, and service management.
It is worth mentioning that TDE is a new company title given to PT Sigma Tata Sadaya (STS), effective since June 24, 2022. (LK/ZH)
