JAKARTA – PT Radiant Utama Interinsco Tbk (RUIS), an oil and gas company, is eyeing several project tenders in the energy plant maintenance field in order to attain new contract target of IDR 2 trillion by the end of this year.
Soeharto Nurcahyono, Director of RUIS, revealed that the company had managed to obtain IDR 1.7 trillion worth of new contracts until July 2022. “The target for the rest of the year will be focused on the service provider segment as it will generate higher profit margin compared to existing projects,” he explained in the public expose treatise, quoted Tuesday (13/9).
According to Nurcahyono, not only did the company seek IDR 2 trillion new contract target, it also aims for increases in revenue and revenue margin. “We ought to be particular in choosing the tender that will grant us more profit,” he added.
Therefore, in order to attain these objectives, his company is holding back expenditure in fixed assets. Until July 2022, approximately 75% of the capital expenditure, worth a total of IDR 16 billion, was indeed channelled to assets with utilisation rights. (LK/ZH)
