JAKARTA. PT Matahari Department Store Tbk (LPPF) is confident that next year, the company will be able to give out final dividend of IDR 525 per share out of the estimated total net profit of the fiscal year 2022 of IDR 1.23 trillion.
In a Public Expose Live 2022 today (15/9), Niraj Jain, Chief Financial Officer of LPPF, explains that the dividend distribution will be adjusted according to the net profit, equity, reserves, contract limitation, working capital, capital expenditure, and future prospects.
“This suggested dividend will be proposed during the Annual General Shareholders Meeting in 2023,” Jain stated. The dividend payment is estimated to take place in May 2023. Meanwhile, LPPF’s cash is predicted to be able to hit IDR 800 billion.
According to Jain, his company is currently focusing on core business and will steer away from acquisition or investment. (AM/ZH)
