JAKARTA – The shareholders of PT Verena Multi Finance Tbk (VRNA) agree upon the modification of the company’s name into PT Mizuho Leasing Indonesia Tbk. Said decision was made earlier this week (19/9) during the Extraordinary General Shareholders Meeting.
“The approval of the alteration of the articles of association came from the present 92.50% of shareholders, representing 5,260,830,395 shares,” Fransisca Gunawan, Corporate Secretary of Verena Multi Finance, announced in the published minutes of meeting, quoted Thursday (22/9).
In addition to the name change, VRNA’s shareholders also agreed upon the change of the address of the company, from Bank Panin Building, Pecenongan, Jakarta, to Asia Tower, 32nd floor, Jenderal Sudirman Street, Jakarta.
The new name and address of the company follows the current portion of Mizuho Leasing in VRNA. Until August 2022, VRNA’s shareholder structure consisted of Mizuho Leasing Co of 67.44%, PT Bank Panin of 25.06%, and public shareholders of 7.5% of the total listed shares of 5,687,353,997 units. (LK/ZH)
