Divesting shares, Lenox to gain IDR 63.82 billion

JAKARTA – PT Lenox Pasifik Investama Tbk (LPPS) has gathered IDR 63.82 billion from divesting its entire portion in PT Star Pacific Tbk (LPLI). Both companies are known to share the same investor, PT Inti Anugerah (IA).

“The proceeds from this divestment will be reinvested in several technology shares through funds, private equity, and stock exchange,” Aditya Budi Kurniawan, Corporate Secretary of Lenox Pasifik Investama, further announced the plan in the information disclosure quoted Monday (26/9).

Lenox’s portion that were divested amounts to 234,658,167 shares worth IDR 272 per share. It is equal to 20.05% of the entire issued and paid-up capital of Star Pacific.

Until August 2022, LPLI’s shares reportedly reached 1,170,432,803 units, 50.6% of which is controlled by IA. LPPS still had 20.05% of them, while the public earned 29.35%.

Meanwhile, LPPS’s shares amount to 2,588,250,000 units, 67.52% of which is claimed by IA, leaving public investors with the remaining 32.48%. (LK/ZH)
