JAKARTA – The revenue of PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk (JSMR) from its toll road segment increased 16.10% in H1 2022, compared to the number seen in the same period last year. This achievement pertains to the increase of traffic volume as the mobility restriction policy has been relaxed even amidst the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

In the Financial Statement of H1 2022 published earlier today (26/9), Subakti Syukur, President Director of Jasa Marga, revealed that the toll segment contributed IDR 6.07 trillion to the revenue, higher than IDR 5.23 trillion in H1 2021. Then, the construction segment followed with a contribution of IDR 886.23 billion, depleting from IDR 1.23 trillion in H1 2021, unlike other business segments that brought in higher revenue from IDR 410.26 billion in H1 2021 to IDR 576.81 billion in H1 2022.

“The total revenue of the company clocked up to IDR 7.54 trillion, shifting 9.56% higher than IDR 6.88 trillion in the first half of 2021,” Syukur claimed.

The subsidiaries of Jasa Marga covered 27.4% or IDR 1.66 trillion of the entire operating revenue. The remaining portion was supported by toll routes under JSMR’s management. For comparison, in H1 2021, its subsidiaries only brought in IDR 1.33 trillion or 25.45% of the total revenue.

JSMR recorded its current year’s profit of IDR 529.08 billion at the end of H1 2022, growing from IDR 21.64 billion in H1 2021. The profit clocked up to IDR 507.43 billion, while its gross profit and operating profit reached IDR 3.62 trillion and IDR 2.93 trillion. (LK/ZH)
