JAKARTA – The shareholders have given the green light for the rights issue plan of PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk (WSKT). Said approval was given during the Extraordinary General Shareholders Meeting yesterday (26/9).
Novianto Ari Nugroho, SVP Corporate Secretary of Waskita Karya, confirmed that the shareholders agreed to issue 8,722,695,331 units of series B shares for IDR 100 each. “Said issuance will be included in the limited public offering III,” he mentioned in the information disclosure quoted Wednesday (28/9).
WSKT’s shareholders also grant authority to the management of WSKT to perform several necessary action regarding the plan. For instance, determining the number of shares, the execution price, and the ratio of the shareholders eligible for the rights issue.
Furthermore, the shareholders meeting also approve the issuance of bonds or sukuk, with government guarantee as regulated in the Minister of Finance Regulation No.211/PMK.08/2020 regarding the Procedure of Granting Government Guarantee for State-Owned Enterprises in Relation with National Economic Recovery.
