Incoming bids in yesterday’s SUN auction hit IDR 23.67 trillion

JAKARTA. The amount of incoming bids recorded in the auction of Government Securities (lit. Surat Utang Negara/SUN) last Tuesday (27/9) reportedly reached IDR 23.67 trillion. This result was publicly announced by the Directorate-General of Budget Financing and Risk Management of the Ministry of Finance.

There were seven series of SUN offered in this auction. They were two series of Treasury Notes (lit. Surat Perbendaharaan Negara/SPN) and five series of State Bonds (lit. Obligasi Negara/ON).

The bids placed in for both series of SPN were totalled to IDR 4.25 trillion. Meanwhile, the incoming bids for all five series of ON clocked up to IDR 19.42 trillion.

From all these incoming bids, the amount of SUN won by the Indonesian government was IDR 10.75 trillion. Said awarded amount fell short of the initial indicative target of IDR 19 trillion.

On September 13, 2022, the Indonesian government also held another SUN auction. In said occasion, the incoming bids peaked at IDR 52.06 trillion, allowing the awarded amount to reach IDR 19 trillion. (KR/ZH)
