JAKARTA - Having experience in supplying precast and readymix products for various infrastructure projects in Indonesia, Waskita Beton Precast is increasingly trusted to supply toll road projects in Indonesia, one of which is the Kamal - Teluknaga - Rajeg - Balaraja Toll Road Project Section 1 (Kataraja Toll Road Project) .

The project, which connects 2 provinces, namely DKI Jakarta and Banten, starts from Kamal Muara (North Jakarta) to Kosambi (Tangerang Regency) along 6.7 km.

The products supplied are spun piles with a diameter of 600 mm and PCI Girders with a total contract value of around Rp 278.61 billion. The signing of the product procurement contract between Waskita Beton Precast and PT Duta Graha Karya was carried out on February 7, 2022.

All products are manufactured and shipped from the Bojonegara Plant and 3 plants in West Java (Plant Subang, Plant Sadang, and Plant Karawang). As the company's flagship precast product, spun pile is used in the initial erection of toll road projects and PCI Girder is used for support poles that connect the pier heads on the road.

With precast products that are proven to be sturdy from these two products, the results of toll road construction have quality that guarantees user comfort for the long term. "We are always committed to supplying high quality, durable precast products, and of course product delivery on time," said Sugiharto, Director of Operations. Currently, the progress of product supply to the Kataraja toll road project has reached 22%. Waskita Beton Precast is optimistic that the progress of spun pile and PCI Girder supply by the end of this year can meet the target of 50%.

"We are aiming to complete the supply of products to the Kataraja toll road project by June 2023," he explained. Later, the existence of this toll road is expected to accelerate the pace of economic growth in the region, absorb a lot of workers, and revive coastal areas in the Tangerang Regency area. (LM)
