JAKARTA – The profit of PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI) proliferated 160.84% in the first half of 2022 compared to the number seen in the same period in 2021. This success was made possible by the massive gain from fixed asset divestment.
In the Financial Statement of H1 2022 published Friday (30/9), Ray Anthony Gerungan, President Director of BIPI, revealed that BIPI’s current year’s profit reached USD 35.91 million, growing from USD 13.76 million in H1 2021. Meanwhile, the current year’s profit attributable to the parent company reportedly increased as well from USD 8.88 million to USD 21.71 million.
In addition to this, the profit before income taxes was also doubled and more, from USD 16.91 million in H1 2021 to USD 37.43 million. It reaped the significant jump in other incomes from USD 900,479 to USD 81.29 million.
Other incomes in question include the proceeds of fixed asset divestment of USD 78.12 million, the recovery of allowance of bad debts of USD 1.96 million, foreign exchange gains of USD 915,601, and others of USD 297,456.
BIPI’s revenue was reportedly stable from USD 28.67 million in H1 2021 to USD 28.69 million in H1 2022. The revenue came from the port rental service of USD 26.54 million, crusher rental service of USD 2.14 million, and consultancy service of USD 12,000. (LK/ZH)
