BIT to conclude Alita’s fibre optic acquisition worth IDR 800 billion

JAKARTA – PT BIT Teknologi Nusantara (BIT) completed the acquisition process of fibre optic network of PT Alita Praya Mitra (Alita) worth IDR 800 billion.

Monalisa Irawan, Corporate Secretary of Sarana Menara Nusantara, the parent company of BIT, confirmed the news in the information disclosure quoted Monday (3/10). “Referring to the Notarial Sale and Purchase Deed, BIT has officially purchased the fibre optic network of Alita,” she added.

According to Irawan, the binding sale and purchase agreement was signed on August 4, 2022, before finally being concluded last week (30/9).

With this acquisition wrapped up, TOWR now secures a new entry in its asset portfolio, which is to provide telecommunication infrastructure service in Indonesia. This company now reportedly manages 29,263 telecommunication towers and 109,256 kilometres of fibre optic network. (LK/ZH)
