JAKARTA - - Volta, a subsidiary of PT NFC Indonesia Tbk (NFCX), which is also part of the PT M Cash Integrasi Tbk (IDX: MCAS) group, participated in the Ready to eMove event. Ready to eMove is an event to bridge the electric motorcycle industry players with the government, to establish synergistic actions in order to achieve President Joko Widodo's target of realizing the use of 2 million electric vehicles (EV) by 2025, the target of reducing emissions by 29% in 2030, and net zero emissions in 2060.
Through the Ready to eMove event, Volta as one of the electric motorcycle industry players in Indonesia also supports the government's target of EV penetration by always actively presenting numerous models of electric motorcycles as an environmentally friendly transportation solution for various industries and daily life. The mission of the event, which echoes the acceleration of the use of electric motorcycles, is also in line with Volta which continues to present innovations, both ownership programs and technological infrastructure to provide convenience for the public in accessing electric vehicles.
Held at The Dharmawangsa Jakarta (4/10), Volta displayed several of its innovative electric motorcycle products including Volta 401, Volta 'Virgo and The Sparklings' edition, Volta Patriot X, as well as supporting infrastructure for electric motorcycles, namely the Battery Swap System (SGB).
Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi, also expressed his support for the implementation of Ready to eMove, “We know the targets we want, which are 29% reduction in emissions by 2030 and net zero emissions in 2060, are not easy. However, looking at the efforts formed by all communities, starting from the existence of Presidential Regulations, Ministerial Regulations, Police, TNI, and Private Sector, this shows that we are together to realize an extraordinary mission.” (LM)
