JAKARTA. PT Astra Otoparts Tbk (AUTO), a vehicle parts manufacturing company under the Astra Group, announced a plan to distribute an interim dividend of IDR 22 per share or a total IDR Rp106.03 billion.
The plan is in accordance with the decision of the AUTO Board of Directors, which was made a few days ago. "It has been approved by the board of commissioners on October 3, 2022," said Wanny Wijaya, AUTO's Corporate Secretary.
The interim dividend will be distributed to AUTO shareholders, whose names are recorded at the recording date on October 13, 2022. Furthermore, the payment of the interim dividend will be carried out on October 24, 2022.
According to idnfinancials.com data, AUTO recorded a consolidated net profit of IDR 432 billion in the first half of 2022, up 62% year-on-year (yoy). This increase was supported by high demand for spare parts from the automotive manufacturer market and replacement parts.
As of June 30, 2022, PT Astra International Tbk (ASII) controls 80% of AUTO's shares. Meanwhile, 20% of the shares are owned by public investors. (KR/LM)
