VOKS to issue Bonds of IDR 250 billion

JAKARTA – PT Voksel Electric Tbk (VOKS) is currently offering its Shelf-Registration Bonds I of 2022 worth IDR 250 billion. These bonds are equipped with a tenor of 270 days and an interest rate of 9.90% per annum.

In the short prospectus quoted Thursday (27/10), approximately IDR 200 billion of the total proceeds from this bonds issuance is said to be spent on paying off the principal of Series A of Bonds I Year 2019 worth IDR 486.55 billion, which will mature on December 12, 2022. Then, another IDR 50 billion will be utilised as a working capital to manufacture fibre optic and power cables.

VOKS’s current authorised capital is IDR 1 trillion, while its issued and paid-up capital clocks up to IDR 415.56 billion. DBS Vickers Hong Kong controls 30.08% of them, followed by SWCC Showa Cable System Co Ltd of 10.02%, Low Tuck Kwong of 7.93%, and public investors of 51.97%.

The assigned underwriters in this corporate action are PT MNC Sekuritas and PT Shinhan Sekuritas Indonesia, while PT BPD Jawa Barat Banten Tbk (BJBR) will act as the trustee. (LK/ZH)
