JAKARTA. The positive trend in the crude palm oil (CPO) price had aided PT Cisadane Sawit Raya Tbk (CSRA) in posting net sales growth of 17.2% year-on-year (yoy) in September 2022. The net sales grew from IDR 653.04 billion in Q3 2021 to IDR 765.16 billion at the end of September 2022.
This significant shift then led to a net profit surge, which coincided with control and efficiency in expenses and operational activities.
The increase in revenue also resulted from high average selling price of CPO. Furthermore, CSRA even recorded an increase in its internal fresh fruit bunches production. The production was also deemed more cost-efficient, thanks to an effective operational strategy.
CSRA’s net profit clocked up to IDR 247.7 billion in September 2022, soaring 38.6% yoy from IDR 178.7 billion. This surge boosted its net profit margin to 32.4%. Then, the operating profit climbed 28.7% yoy to IDR 364.08 billion, bringing the operating profit margin upward from 43.3% in the same period last year to 47.6% in Q3 2022. (AM/ZH)
