JAKARTA – The sales of PT Avia Avian Tbk (AVIA), a paint manufacturer, reportedly remained stagnant in the third quarter of 2022, slightly slowing down from IDR 4.97 trillion to IDR 4.95 trillion (year-on-year/yoy). The sales of trading goods were contracted, while the architecture solution segment showed a shy increase.

In the Financial Report of Q3 2022 quoted Tuesday (1/11), Wijono Tanoko, President Director of AVIA, further revealed that the architecture solution segment contributed IDR 3.99 trillion to the revenue, shifting IDR 3.97 trillion in Q3 2021. On the contrary, the trading goods sales slipped off from IDR 1 trillion to IDR 958.99 billion (yoy).

On the other hand, AVIA’s own distribution network brought IDR 4.3 trillion to the total revenue, followed by the third-party distributors that generated IDR 633.71 billion. Meanwhile, direct sales in material retail stores clocked up to IDR 24.21 billion. AVIA’s own distribution network in question are managed by PT Tirtakencana Tirtawarna (TKTW) and PT Tirtakencana Batamindo (TKBI), a subsidiary of TKTW.

The gross profit shrank from IDR 2.12 trillion to IDR 1.98 trillion, as did its operating profit from IDR 1.35 trillion to IDR 1.12 trillion. Thankfully, its current year’s profit slightly shifted from IDR 1.05 trillion to IDR 1.08 trillion, thanks to the decreased income tax and deferred tax expenses. (LK/ZH)
