JAKARTA. As of September 2022, PT Asuransi Tugu Pratama Indonesia Tbk (TUGU) and its subsidiaries managed to brought home IDR 262.2 billion of profit, shifting 14.6% from IDR 228.79 billion seen in the same period last year.
Based on the financial report published in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) yesterday (1/11), TUGU’s total revenue grew 10.8% year-on-year (yoy) from IDR 1.99 trillion to IDR 2.2 trillion in September 2022. The revenue was accumulated from gross premium that increased 10.4% yoy from IDR 4.28 trillion to IDR 4.72 trillion, its net premium that increased 7.1% yoy to IDR 2.03 trillion, and investments that shifted 9% yoy higher to IDR 254.02 billion.
Meanwhile, total expenses also swelled, arriving 10.3% yoy higher at IDR 1.87 trillion as of September 2022. These expenses include the gross claim that climbed a shy of 0.04% yoy to IDR 1.59 trillion.
Until September 2022, TUGU’s total assets clocked up to IDR 20.85 trillion, while its total investments grew 6.6% yoy to IDR 9.33 trillion. Meanwhile, TUGU’s total liabilities and equity amounted to IDR 11.78 trillion and IDR 9.05 trillion, respectively. For the record, TUGU is still controlled by PT Pertamina (Persero) with an ownership percentage of 58.50%. (AM/ZH)
