JAKARTA. PT Merdeka Mining Service (MMS) has acquired a mining construction service contract worth IDR 325.77 billion from PT Gorontalo Sejahtera Mining (GSM). Both companies are affiliated, sharing the same parent entity, PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA).
Quoting the information disclosure Thursday (3/11), said transaction agreement will be effective for the next two years, starting from the official contract signing on October 31, 2022. The contract value that has been ageed by both parties is yet to include 10% margin. All in all, the transaction value still falls below 20% of MDKA’s total equity in June 2022.
For the record, MMS’s work scope includes the construction, design, and exploration of mines, as well as assets management, feasibility study, consultancy, and detailed engineering design. (LK/ZH)
