OMED to allocate IDR 450.75 billion for CapEx

JAKARTA – PT Jayamas Medica Industri Tbk (OMED), a medical device manufacturer, will take out IDR 450.75 billion from the total IPO proceeds of IDR 828 billion for its capital expenditure (CapEx). Then, the remaining amount will be channelled to its working capital and its subsidiaries as extra capital investments.

According to the short prospectus, quoted today (8/11), OMED will set aside approximately IDR 597.73 billion or 72.19% of the proceeds for its capital expenditure (75.41%) and working capital (24.59%). Another 22.87% of the proceeds will be advanced as capital investment to PT Intisumber Hasil Sempurna Global (IHSG), its subsidiary. Then, the remaining 4.94% will be used to raise the capital of PT Inti Medicom Retailindo (IMR), IHSG’s subsidiary.

From the allocated capex, OMED will utilise IDR 191.70 billion or 42.53% of it to establish a new building. Then, another IDR 259.04 billion or 57.47% of it will be spent on new production machine and other equipment in Mojoagung II, Batang, Wonosalam, and Lamongan.

The extra capital for IHSG, worth IDR 189.36 billion, will be used to add more distribution branches and enhance its national distribution centre, as well as reinforcing its working capital. Then, the remaining IDR 40.90 billion will be used by IMR as additional capital.

For the record, OMED had successfully conducted its initial public offering (IPO) of 4,058,850,000 shares for IDR 204 each last week, from November 2 to 4, 2022. (LK/ZH)
