JAKARTA – PT Linknet Tbk (LINK), an internet and tv subscription provider, will extend the scope of its service to several cities in Sumatra Island. Linknet currently has its services established in 27 cities, 24 of which have cities in Java Island as their addressable households.

According to the public expose treatise quoted Friday (18/11), Marlo Budiman, President Director of LINK, mentioned that there might be a possibility of his company to schedule an expansion outside Java. “The company has actually been established in Sumatra; in Batam and Medan, to be exact. However, there are other cities with the market potential of becoming additional homes passed,” he explained.

Budiman said that as of July 2022, the company had recorded 3 million of homes passed. Then, within Java Island, LINK still utilises 21 cities out of 45 cities as its addressable household.

Until now, its network span across 27 cities. As mentioned above, 24 cities are located in Java Island, and the other three network centres are scattered in Medan, Batam, and Bali. LINK believes that the number of potential customers in Java is extraordinary. (LK/ZH)
