Eyeing land in Cikarang and Kertajati, Metland to allocate IDR 125 billion

JAKARTA. PT Metropolitan Land Tbk (MTLA) or Metland has used up approximately IDR 125.4 billion or 38% of its initial capital expenditure (capex) budget to acquire tracts of land for Metland Cikarang and Metland Kertajati.

Olivia Surodjo, Director of MTLA, announced that until October 2022, the company had realised its capex budget of IDR 330 billion, 38% of which has been used to purchase tracts of land, including ones for Metland Cikarang and Metland Kertajati. The management of MTLA has projected the initial launch of Metland Cikarang in the first half of 2023, followed by Metland Kertajati at the end of next year, as quoted in Bisnis yesterday (27/11).

On top of these two upcoming projects, MTLA also manages development of commercial projects, such as Horison Ume Suites and villas in Ubud, Bali.

Meanwhile, in 2023, Metland plans to redirect its focus on existing residential projects. It is also currently designing its budget for next year and its targets, including marketing sales, capex, and net profit. (AM/ZH)
