BEBS arranges a stock split with 1:5 ratio

JAKARTA – PT Berkah Beton Sedaya Tbk (BEBS) will split the stock value with a 1:5 ratio, meaning that it will split a share of IDR 50 each to five shares of IDR 10 each.

Hasan Muldhani, Preident Director of Berkah Beton Sedaya, said that this decision had been given the green light during the Annual General Shareholders Meeting last week (24/11). “The meeting reached quorum as it was joined in by shareholders who represent 7,059,136,132 shares or 78.43% of the entire issued shares,” he explained in the meeting treatise, quoted today (29/11).

Said decision entails a modification on Article 4 Paragraph 1 and 2 of its Articles of Association regarding this stock split. The authorised capital of BEBS, which amounts to IDR 1 trillion split into 20 billion shares of IDR 50 each, will become 100 billion units worth IDR 10 each. The issued and paid-up capital that consists of 9 billion shares will change into 45 billion shares worth IDR 450 billion in total.

Yesterday (28/11), BEBS’s highest stock price in the trading session was capped at IDR 3,830 per share, with the lowest of IDR 3,700 each. It was closed at IDR 3,820 per share. Yesterday’s transaction involved 34,709,700 shares worth IDR 130.33 billion, collectively. (LK/ZH)
