Foreign investors sold 126 million shares of Bank BCA (BBCA)

JAKARTA - Friday (December 2), net foreign volume was further down at negative 209.24 million shares. Foreign purchasing and sales transactions were not particularly busy, with a total volume of 1.5–1.7 billion shares. Bank BCA had the lowest net volume, minus 64.33 million shares, due to foreign shareholders selling approximately 126.02 million shares of PT Bank Central Asia (BBCA). PT Avia Avian Tbk (AVIA) had the second-highest foreign sales, with 59.38 million shares and a net minus 39.72 million in volume

Three other issuers that were also sold by foreigners this time were PT Bakrie & Brothers Tbk (BNBR) with 59.58 million, PT Ace Hardware Indonesia Tbk (ACES) with 34.22 million, and PT Industry and Trade Bintraco Dharma Tbk (CARS) with 25.89 million shares. The three recorded net volumes ranged from -22 to -27 million shares.

Foreigners, on the other hand, purchased 61.8 million shares of PT Panin Financial Tbk (PNLF), resulting in the shares with the highest net volume this time, at 45.81 million. Although PT Wir Asia Tbk (WIRG) sold more shares, 102.5 million, the net book was only 26.54 million.

Foreign investors purchased 35.79 million shares of oil and gas issuer PT Energi Mega Persada Tbk (ENRG), while 26.92 million shares of PT Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk (BULL) were also purchased. International investors actually purchased more PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) shares than the previous two issuers, totaling 59.95 million shares. Still, the three issuers recorded a similar net volume, around 25 million shares.(KD)
